Apple stock faltered earlier this month when the market slid south and speculation over AAPL’s P/E came under fire. Having fallen all the way down below $160 per share this month, Apple has recovered modestly and finished out today at $168.85 per share. As with much of the market, Apple should continue be under bearish pressure until the fog is lifted. Investors are looking to see major gains in earnings to rationalize the purchase of AAPL at such an enormous P/E. After today’s close, Apple trades at 42.9x earnings.

Apple consistently likes to take discreet shots at its competitor, Microsoft. Whether it’s about viruses or system crashes, Apple tries to incorporate the stereotypical Windows machine into their products and websites. Here’s the latest.
The Blue Screen of Death is one of the most awful screens to reach when operating Windows computer. It means, you’ve just crashed and there’s no way of getting back. When I was recently bored and passing the time, I looked at a connected computer, or “Shared” computer. The computer was hooked on to my network and was a Windows PC. Clicking on the shared computer brought up a folder entitled “C.” Curious, I clicked “Get Info” for the drive. Under “Preview” was a bulky CRT Monitor showing the “Blue Screen of Death.”

Reports have been surfacing about Apple’s (AAPL) sale on the busiest shopping day of the year, Black Friday. Apple Stores are set to have reasonable price cuts on a variety of products and only for the one day sale.
This year, Black Friday will be on November 23rd. This “one-day” shopping event will include online stores and the retail stores will enjoy longer hours. Based on the pamphlet below, we can infer that the sale will include a wide assortment of products. From iPods to Macs, the sale will be well worth taking a look at.
