I run a macbook pro and when I'm not tethered to an external display, spaces is an awesome way to keep my workflows running smooth. I run separate apps in different "spaces" so I don't get bogged down with the flurry of windows. Time machine WILL save my ass some day. Mobile HDs have an uncanny knack at failing when you need them most. One use of time machine is a bargain compared to $1500 for a data recovery company to resurrect your dead HD. And finally, now that mail.app has to do's w/ reminders built in, I can keep Entourage off my machine. Apple has REALLY refined os X here and I'd have to say the upgrade is worth EVERY penny! spaces rocks! I guess one could make an argument that the OS it self wasn't that big an upgrade, but the software was, and I think the changes to the OS allowed for a lot of new software.
