Six New EA Games Launched Today for Mac
posted in Apple (AAPL), Mac |After years of noticing a complete lack of gaming for the Mac platform, EA Games has made an attempt, albeit poor, towards moving Macs towards better gaming machines. Macs are great computers and would certainly be able to handle most games thrown at them. Unfortunately, no one has been designing for them.
Games launched were:
- Madden NFL 08
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08
- Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
- Need for Speed Carbon
- Battlefield 2142
It seems as though all of these games are somewhat unimpressive and hardly unique to the Mac Platform, but this is definitely a good first step. I’ll look forward to the majority of game designers moving back to the Mac platform as market share increases positively influence the creators.
