I think you should have done a little more research RIMM had a huge jump around the time of the iPhone release, but most financial analysts agree that it was because they posted record high earnings estimates and that it was separate from the iPhone. If have considered this, you should address it in your blog. If not, you should go read up before you post.

Thanks for the comment!

Yes, we're aware that the iPhone had no direct effect to RIM's initial gap up. We simply inferred that the move higher during and even after the gap up may be a result of the tremendous earnings of RIM inside of the iPhone release.

Hope this clears things up,

Having looked at a Blackberry Pearl extensively this weekend and having had Win Mobile and Palm Smartphones in the past, I can honestly state that there is no comparison with the iPhone. Apple did a phenomenal job and makes the BB, WM and Palm devices look and function more like Windows 1.0

Lets not get carried away. BB 8600 is an awesome product.
Business class will most likely continue to gravitate to BB.
Here's an example: Attorneys cannot enter a court of law with
a camera phone, they must check it. Why do you think most attorneys have Blackberries?
