					<description>It's not LED rather than LCD, it's 'LED Plus LCD'.  As opposed to the current 'fluorescent tube plus LCD' displays we have now.

LED's are lower power, lower voltage, longer-lasting, better color over their lifetimes, and cast a more even light across the screen, than fluorescent tubes.  They should also fail less often and don't contain mercury.
